Spring has arrived at last at Mayfield House, our bustling Conference Centre here at McSence Business Park. The plants, which were planted by one of our Tenants, the Community Resource Team, lead by the more than capable greenfingers of Lorraine and Ruth with a lot of help from their friends in designing and making the beautiful Spring plant pots are starting to bloom and bringing thoughts of Spring to all our customers and visitors to our Conference Centre. Take a look at our pictures and if you are interested in the same pots for your Spring blooms I’m sure Lorraine , Ruth and their team would be delighted to design and make some for you .

Our conference centre just recently held an event for the Mid and East Lothian Chamber of Commerce on 19th August. This was successfully attended by people from all walks of business life and allowed them to see exactly the kind of facilities we have here in Mayfield House and more. They were treated to a display of our McSence dvd, a tour of the three buildings ie Mayfeild House, Buckie House and Colliery Court allowing them to see the various facilities we have.

Buckie House – Units rented to Tenants such as Artlink, Y2K, Quality Office
Colliery Court – Our excellent Training facilities for MTS, MITECH and SCVO trainees. Unit rentals to Link Living and Hepburn engineering.
Mayfield House – Our various sized Seminar rooms all named after previous mining collieries in the area of Midlothian, ie Monktonhall Suite, Bilston Glen Suite to the smaller Blinkbonny Suite.

We have a lot of training seminars and events lined up for the future, notably the Midlothian Enterprise Training event in which school pupils from Midlothian participate in varying business practices.

Seminars on awareness courses for varying Social Work departments, and smaller events like SVQ training etc.

We look forward to the future and the continuing success of our Conferencing venue here in Mayfield House.
